function properly and safely on my Model 60-3 in .38 even though the barrel is marked .357?

I am not a gunsmith but would be concerned about shank length and protrusion back into the cylinder window. Might be a lathe job.
How about sight height, does your gun have adjustables?0 -
Excellent points. The gap can be fitted, a full length extractor rod can be purchased from Numrich, but the sight may be a huge problem. I have the groove sights like most other 60s.
I think I'll pass.
Thanks!0 -
The blade on that barrel will come out easy. I guess the question is will the rib itself set any front sight too high, regardless of how short the replacement blade may be. Too high a front sight generally means shooting llow, maybe a heavy slow bullet will raise a POI if needed. 0
