You have to start with the premise that EVERYTHING in NJ is illegal and work backwards. Most of Jersey is a beautiful piece of real estate, but it's politics, laws and taxes are abominations. I'm so glad I escaped my birth state!

I dont think its legal. I live here and its hard to get anything shipped if it is illegal to own.

    Its not a gun.

The grip is not specifically banned in NJ & it can be shipped there. The catch is for the buyer. NJ bans specific "assault firearms" such as the AK. The exception that allows new rifles, is that they can't have more than 2 "bad" features such as a pistol grip, detachable magazine, threaded muzzle, flash hider, etc. NJ law also says that having an assembled, legal rifle along with extra parts that could make it illegal, is a crime.
