lake city brass
doesnt have a caliber stamp on it? i just got in 1000 cases of once fired brass and none of it has a 5.56 headstamp on it. just L.C and the nato cross. also near every piece had to be trimmed for OAL. is this normal?

I purchased some 223 brass from one of our advertisers and as I was uniforming the primer pockets I noticed a number of the cases had the flash holes off center. Is this common with this brass or? 0 -
How far off center? If more than a few thousandths it would be out of spec...kinda surprised that stuff made it through QC. I have had universally good luck with LC stuff. Could yuo measure it and let me know? 0 -
An extremely common condition w/ most any non-match grade brass - be it USGI, import MILSPEC/GI or commercial. These flaws will also vary by mfg, so ...... gage them & live w/ it. 0 -
Common.
Still go bang.
