Win 67A extractor

Is this rifle missing the extractor? Sure looks weird to me.

Not sure on this model but many single shot 22 Rimfire rifles have the extractor on the very bottom of the receiver and as you pull the bolt all the way back it will pull this extractor Bar to the rear & pull the case out of the chamber. It will not eject the empty shell.

Hello Mr. O'Reilly: This is a single shot rifle. The extractor is in the rail that rides below the bolt. When pulling the bolt to the rear after firing a lip on the rear of the rail under the bolt engages and the extractor (that is in the recess of the chamber) pulls the expired cartridge from the chamber and ejects the spent cartridge.

The extractor is not a part of the face of the bolt, which threw you because that is where you expected it to be.

Are you having extraction problems. It's common on this model.

Looks like extractor is in place as Merrbob suggested. Should be o.k., but confirm with seller before bidding.

That 67A is a good rifle. I got one and it's a good shooter and extracts fine. Had a 67 also and it was a good'un too.
