havn't loaded 110gr in a while but used to use them on chucks,

I have done extensive 110 gr 30-06 loads. Most were with the intention of making a mild light chuck load. Some were hot loads but gave up because the 110 bullet looses velocity quickly and I discovered that 168gr was "THE" long range bullet. Here goes, approach all loads in increments due to the variation in individual firearms/pressure.
110gr Sierra hollow point
35gr 4895
over/all length 3.0
primer rem 9 1/2
results: nice mid range chuck load for sub 150yds. low noise, recoil cut in half
110gr Sierra hollow point
48gr 4895
primer 9 1/2
O/A 3.05
Results: explosive on chucks, fairly loud, low recoil
110gr Sierra hollow point
57gr 4831
primer 9 1/2 rem
O/A 3.10
Results: Good on chucks out to 400yds with no wind. Explosive on small game.
110gr Hornady speer point
42gr 4895
primer cci large rifle
O/A 3.05
Results: Great low recoil varmint load but loud.Less drop than any other 110gr at 300 yd.
All cases trimmed to 2.45
Then I tried a 100gr .308dia cast ball with light charge and dacron filler, strickly a winter indoor basement load 25ft, single manual load in bolt action.
Results: erratic accuracy, cat left home.
Next a 100gr full metal jacket .307dia M1 carbine bullet (dirt cheap)
with light load dacron filler, indoor load
Results: Accurate, cat never did return home!
Did not include velocity because my barrel is different than yours.
Hope this helps...go have a good time. 110gr .308 bullets are always cheap at gun shows.0
