Will model 39 grips fit a model 59. I'm looking at a 59 because of mag capacity but really like the wooden grips on the 39.

  The model 39 grips will fit a model 52, but they won't fit a model 59. The model 59 grips are flat on the rear edge while the 39 grips are curved.

  Its not like model 59 wood grips are unavailable. . . .
