Savage Model 30F
I have a Savage 20 ga pump shotgun - on the receiver it says Savage Model 30F. It is 98% new condition, has engraving on both sides and it looks like there was gold or something in the quail and bushes at one time. I'm not sure about this and wonder if anyone knows if this is true. I went online and cannot find a Savage Model 30F anywhere, also looked in a gun book and did not find a model 30F there either. Also, I cannot find a serial number anywhere, it does say Savage Model 30F Pat. applied for. Can someone give me any of this information or the approximate value? Thanks.

savage (stevens, springfield) made a bunch of similar pump shotguns based on the same (cheap) system (m-30, a,b,c,d,e,f; m-67 same). the receivers on some were 'roll' engraved and filled with gold paint to 'pretty' them up some. none are worth much ($200 tops), just reasnable 'shooting' guns. 0
