185 FMJ, MFG (R)?

Just looking at some ballistics for ammunition and i was curious what "MFG" meant? What do the different lettering's mean, (C), (CB), (F), etc. thx for any feedback.

  Just a total stab in the dark unless you provide a more specific description, but maybe Manufacturer Remington? We'd have to know the context of what you were reading to really figure this out.

  It's just a listing of ammo manufactures, such as:
  
  Black Hills
  CCI/Speer
  Cor-Bon
  Federal
  Hornady
  Magtech
  PMC PMC-Eldorado
  Remington
  Winchester
  Ultramax
  Standard
  
  Just use the first letter of each to tell who made the load
