Bushmaster C15 Problems.

Anyone have any problems with the Bushmaster C15, carbon version, 223. I am getting one tomorrow. I don't understand why they are so much cheaper.

Hello, and welcome to our forums here on GunBroker.com.

Most of us purists, don't care for the carbon fiber lower reciever.

However, if it is a real early BM carbon 15, that was made by the company Professional Ordnance, and has a carbon upper and lower, they have a different barrel extension and bolt than mil-spec AR-15's. Possibly bolt carrier too.

I went out and put some rounds through it today. Feels good. I understand it isn't top of the line. But I think it will do just fine for how often I will use it. The bushnell red dot that came with it is a piece of garbage though. The red dot went out at least once per clip. Plus the red glare it throws out into the scope is terrible.
