I'm one. I have a Hanyang 88 rifle. Wish I had a Kiangnan Mannlicher, but then, who doesn't.

I have a Hanyang 88 also. Maybe you could help me with the markings on the right butt of my rifle. There is an oval with some Chinese characters and a star in it. A large set of numbers is stamped below the marking. Does anyone know what this stamp means. The breech has very faint Chinese characters in a straight line top to bottom on it.
