Assuming you got everything re-assembled correctly; it sounds like you might have to slightly bend the tab that holds and releases the actuator rod. It should be between the rammer tube clamp and spring. A very slight up or down tweaking of it makes a big difference as to whether the bar lock works correctly or not. The old tube feed systems work fine but require a tray accessory to fill the tubes. Usually one would fill all the tubes he had before undertaking a loading operation. The bottom of the drop tube had a spring activated tip that was tripped by the indent ball washer to allow one primer at a time to fall into the priming station. The tray type priming assemblies will work with the older 650's and were intended as an upgrade. As you noticed you will need the chain and a clip on bracket that mounts on the depriming foot. They require a different bracket for mounting and adjustment but I believe the old tube bracket might could be modified. None of the 650's can resize.

Later I found a segment on the Mec Website that at least the older 650 can resize like a single stage press. All that's need is to remove the primer feeder and screw in a sizer body with the correct guage ring from a single stage press over the de-primer shaft.
