    Many of these old police issue weapons were "rode hard and put away wet" for most of their careers. Without detailed pictures and a gunsmiths check for timing, end-shake, frame stretch, flame cutting, etc. there is no real way to give any meaningful value.

    A lot of them were shot once a year for qualification and have no more wear than a lot of holster rubs, too.
    It is good to know what you are looking at.

    Mine was a 10-5 heavy barrel in good "shooter" condition and I sold it for $285.
