M1916 Mauser stock cross fits?

I have an M1916 Spanish mauser in 7.62nato.

I'm looking to get a replacement stock, but not a commercial one. I want another milsurp type.

Which other mauser stocks will "bolt on" to this rifle without much or any modification to the stock?

This rifle is based off the 1993 Mauser. Here is a bit on the M1916 rifles if you need a refresher:

    The 93/95 small ring actions are basically the same externally. The barrel length and locaton of the handguard retainers will be a problem. This is not the venue to sell things but I parted out several of the 1916 rifles years ago and still have some stock parts.

    Many military small-ring config stocks will work for this ap.
    Depending upon what you are willing to fork-over in $ here, these are widely available from the usual suspects. Caveat: Ya may need to internally fit/finish it to suit.

    Very glad to hear that it's NOT destined for a shooter-grade bubba-sporter.

    b04, I have a penchant for "original style" military arms, especially the WW1/WW2 era. I especially like the "offbeat" stuff, like the Spanish mausers, which I consider to be just a tad below the German models, but just as functional and durable.

    I have a total of 7 spanish mausers of various kinds, 1916, FR7, FR8 and love all of them.

    Hey, I collect generally South American contract guns (with some notable exceptions) and since years ago they were far lower cost than comparable German military guns, they are mostly MADE by the Germans for the SA market. Have generally been able to get very high condition specimens inexpensively and have a good number of "true carbines" that if they were European (Swede 1914, CZ G33/40 etc...) would have been out of my reach. So don't let anybody give you crap for liking the Spaniards or other "lesser" Mausers; we all have our little guilty pleasures!
