    PISTOL MADE 1958 Value IMHO $2000 +or- Pictures up close in focus with good natural outdoor lighting only way for us to give better idea od value.

    The "Buntline Special" was popular in the late 1950's due to the TV show "Wyatt Earp". Interest waned once the show was canceled as the 12" barrel was more of a novelty as opposed to practicality. I agree with Perry as to the average value without pics.

    I agree with spider Bubba has had this gun apart with drug store screw drivers now a shooter $1250.00 [V]

    I was going to recommend the screw replacement route, then I noticed the front of the trigger guard (at the SerNo location on frame). Notice the fit?

    Joe's right. Your gun is a good candidate for shipping back to Colt for repair by the Custom Shop; they will replace all messed up parts, check it for function, & it will look almost new.

    The fit issue near the trigger guard. Is this a bad thing? Will colt repair this free of charge or will it be a costly fix? I guess because it was not fired dosent mean it wasnt molested lol...
