mossberg bullpup sight questions

I am just curious if this sight will work for my Mossberg Bullpup? Will i need to purchase some type of rail with it, if so tell me what all is needed for this to work correctly.
I am just looking for something like this but I dont want to spend a whole lot at this time.

    What exactly are you trying to shoot with this thing?

    What's wrong with the stock sights?

    Could this Truglo sight work? Yes.

    Would I personally put a flimsy open-lens reflex sight like that on a combat gun I was trusting my life to? No.

    One of several significant problems with the Mossberg bullpup design is that the odd carry handle design means conventional sighting systems aren't easy to install.

    This gun is not going to take a standard rail without drilling and/or tapping somewhere, potentially destroying any collectors value in the process.

    One way you could put on a scope rail is to remove the carry handle (you might have to permanently cut it off. . .I don't know how its attached to the gun), then mount a conventional scope rail onto the head shield under it.

    My suggestion to you is to get rid of the bullpup and replace it with a conventional Mossberg 500 or 590 shotgun, which has the same controls and function, but with better balance, a better trigger, and the ability to mount whatever sort of sights you like onto the receiver.

    Also, in my opinion, you don't really need any optical or dot type sight for a conventional combat shotgun. Dot sights and such are just more expense and crap to go wrong when the chips are down, and the gun is likely to be used at close ranges anyway.

    Again, in my opinion, the best sights on a combat type shotgun are "ghost ring", which is basically the same as a military type peep sight with a slightly larger rear ring.

    Second to that would be just a stock front brass bead or if you want to get fancy a fiber optic front sight.

    Well after hearing this I think i will pass. I do not want to drill or damage my shotgun. I will just keep it as it is. Thanks for the info.

    Fix your grip safety, per my instructions, shoot it a couple times, then sell it, like everyone does with the Mossberg bullpup.

    It's nice for a spell, then all the plastic, horrible trigger, and cheap construction gets old...real fast.
