smith and wesson 38/44 heavy duty
i have a smith and wesson 38/44 heavy duty that is in 95 out 100 % - 1950's but i am not sure of its true value / has been used only 12 to 20 times over the years / kept in the vapor wrap in the gold box its whole life -
4 inch / blue / in gold box
is currently listed on a site but i am worried it is too low
any help would be appreciated

Not the best of time to be selling stuff, economy wise unfortunately. If it is as you describe, it will go quick though. S & W's of that era and in that condition would have plenty of bidders. I wouldn't worry about the starting price, as more then likely their will be a bidding war between multiple bidders that will drive the price up. 0 -
The bidders will certainly not allow your gun to be 'too low'..provided they agree with what you've just told us about the gun. You already have it listed somewhere, so I'm not going to bother to ask for photos. Too late.

In my opinion you SHOULD HAVE come here Before you listed your item for auction. Sort of like closing the bard door ETC. If you have listed your pistol on another site good luck . However if listed here then I suggest you open a post on the general discussion forum and have a topic of "Shameless plug S&W Heavy Duty' .THEN give the item number of your action so it will be easy for those of us that are interested to find it and BID. 0
