Myself and 3 others found 10 sheds today. Noticed they were dropping them back in early jan. here in Iowa. Just lost all our snow cover last week, and was nice out today.

Hey forester, so I about hit some deer a few nights ago coming into town. Stupid bucks still had their antlers! (Mulies) Anyway, don't you guys have porcupines? You can't hardly find a shed out here, and we don't even have very many of them prickly critters, but they sure gobble 'em up.

P.S.I wish I had thought of it at the time[B)], but I was in Oswego in September. How far away was I?

Oswego is about 3.5 hours from me.....
What were you doing there, checking out the college for one of your kids? I spent 2.5 years in Syracuse at the Forestry College, SUNY ESF in the late 1980's - Good Times !
I even saw the Rolling Stones at the Carrier Dome.

We do have porcupines here. You have to get out early as soon as the snow is gone. Squirrels and chipmunks will also chew on antlers also.

The Mrs and I were there for the re-fuel outage at Fitzpatrick. Headed to NJ from there. I assume you were the other direction?
New York sure is beautiful. Closest I've seen out east to the kind of beauty of the Rockies. 99.9% of the state is beautiful rural country, but that craphole city gets NY a great big [B)].
