I have a side by side made by New York Arms Co. this the only information I can find on the gun. Can anyone tell me anything else
about this firearm. I also need to know where I might can find a

You will have to find a Good Stock Maker that will take on the Job, and build you a Stock..It won't be cheap, but there just isn't any other choice...... 0 -
Captain Kirk has given you some fairly correct information but..... The gun is what is known as a "Trade Brand Name" shotgun. That is a gun that was made by a major maker (and before 1940) for and was sold by a wholesaler or retailer who chose the name to go on the gun. Guns with the name NEW YORK ARMS CO were made by the Crescent Fire Arms Company of Norwich, CT (1892 to 1931) for and were most likely sold by the H & D Folsom Company of New York City a large wholesale and retail sporting goods dealer. Crescent has been out of business for eighty years and there are no off the shelf replacement parts available. Sometimes you can find parts and parts guns for sale on the various gun auction sites like here on Gun Broker. And as said you can find some stock makers who can carve replacement parts but the cost may exceed the value of the gun. And value. the value of any old gun will depend on its condition, the amount of original finish remaining on the metal and wood as well as the mechanical condition. Values for these guns can range from about $200 to less than $10 for a rusty rotten incomplete piece of junk fit only as a boat anchor. Incidentally if you post the serial number of the gun, I can tell you when it was made. 0 -

it was a rusted fast, paint covered "junk pile" gun when i got it...0
