Winchester Model 61
I have a Winchester Model 61. It is still in the box and has never been fired. There is a small scratch on the barrel. It also has the tag hanging on the trigger guard. Any idea how much it is worth?

What is the value of a Winchester Model 61 from the 1960s? It's got an 8+ inch foregrip, 24 inch barrel and is in G to VG condition. Chambered for 22 S, L, and LR. Serial Number 322xxx. 0 -
Hello Please help us to help you Without pictures The G to VG discription could be $200.00-$1000.00. I have two suggestions #1 take and post HERE some detail close-up in focus pitures of all parts of your Rifle or #2 look on the auction side and do a SMART search on Winchester model 61 find some that have SOLD in the last 90 days not ones that have pie in the sky prices with no bids or have not met reserve. Then compare with the one you have. I know this sounds rude. But think of it as us asking you what a BLUE FORD in good to very good condition is worth We need much more information. 0 -
Hello,
The serial number indicates that your Model 61 was manufactured in 1961. As such, it should have a groove-topped receiver, and that will add a premium to the value. That all said, we do need to see pictures of it to properly assess the graded condition and subsequent value estimate.0
