when springfield made the newer production guns did they use any old receiviers

Define "newer production".

Springfield Armory, the US government arsenal, manufactured firearms from 1777 to 1968. M1 rifles manufactured during the Korean War did not use any components made during WW2.

Springfield Armory Inc, a commercial manufacturer, was created in 1974. They manufactured M1 rifles using commercial cast receivers, & a combination of USGI & commercial parts.
