Shooting Glasses

Hey guys. I've been looking around at some shooting glasses for a while now, but I already wear glasses. I have to get refitted with new prescriptions every 6 months because I have a degrading eyesight. It wouldn't be economical for me to buy new glasses AND new prescription shooting glasses every 6 months so I was wondering if anyone knew where i could find some clip on shooting glasses or some that go over my original prescription. I would just get clip on sunshades, but I want something that I can take to the indoor range and be legal to shoot with...

  I would like to know what shooting glasses are the best. I'm looking for a tactical type glasses.

  There are several brands of shooting glasses that take prescription inserts behind the big tinted protective lens. The Randolph Ranger XLW is the set I am looking at to replace the regular Rangers lost in a house fire. The frames and main lens aren't cheap but you can change Rx inserts for $90.

  Also, while they are not optimally designed for the purpose, regular prescription sunglasses or eyeglasses could function fine as shooting glasses depending on their style.
  
  If the point is basically to keep powder, debris, or spent shells from hitting you in the eyes, most glasses can do that. If you know you are going to be using your eyeglasses for double-duty as shooting glasses, you can just pick a style that could serve both functions.

  Been using polycarbonate lenses for everything incuding shooting for years. They will withstand #8 birdshot at relatively close range.
