Which color?

Can someone tell me which color of aluma-hyde II is the closest match to the ruger matte stainless finish that is on their stainless hawkeye finish? I don't think the ruger finish is all that durable. Mine took a pretty good beating while elk hunting this year. Thanks

DCS shooters, I did that. Don't really believe the color chart is that accurate. Besides, I thought perhaps that someone out here in gunbroker would have already have firsthand experience with the colors and would know.

  Were I you, I would contact Brownells at their toll-free number and ask to speak to a technical representative.
  
  Ask the techrep which one of their guys is most familiar with Aluma-Hyde spray finish and in particular the colors. Then ask your question of which color is most comparable to the Ruger finish. Pay close attention to the answer and decide whether the response is from experience or a wild @$$ guess. Most of their guys have wide experience and may be able to help.
  
  You could also ask Brownells who you could call at the manufacturer to get a definitive answer...they should be able to give you contact information.
