delton dti m4
i just ordered a delton dti m4 talked into it by my local gun dealer price its my first ar. is this a good rifle? will it last? any problems? cromemolly barrel? optics?need feedback

DTI makes good stuff!
Plus, they have really good customer service. So, if anything's wrong with it, they'll make it right.
Less the lower receiver, I'm thinking about buying one of their kits.
Personally, I like the way they do things.

no i dident get the crome lined i think its cromolly pladiaum? next time i know what to do. and i got the rear peep sight im thinking red dot but it has to be affordable.its my first ar so im pretty cluless.but im sure it will be fun 0 -
I've got/had several DelTon uppers and no problems with them. They shoot as well as would be expected from an economically built piece. 0 -

Its good enough for general use for things you'd probably want to do with an M4 type gun.
It should last as long as any other similar AR build.
You shouldn't have any problems, though if you do, Del-Ton should take care of them for you.
Chrome-moly helps reduce barrel fouling, and its probably a worthwhile option for casual shooters.
Optics depend on what exactly you want to do with the gun. My take on this is that again, for most casual shooters, less is more. For an M4 combat-type gun go for a dot or holographic 1x sight. If you want magnification, try and keep it in the 1-4x range, with fixed being better than variable.0
