ruger vs sig shotgun?
can anyone help, i have an opportunity to purchase a used 12 gauge ruger red label ducks unlimited over/under about 10 years old for approx. 1000.00 or a sig 12 gauge model sa3 overunder for the same price age unknown both are in very good condition. looking for future value and quality for field hunting use. the sig has separated barrels, no rib between the barrels but has a vent top rib, is that a minus or plus. ? the best one. thanks.

Go for the Ruger and don't look back. 0 -
Both of those shotguns are excellent choices, the Ruger is worth approximately $100 more than the Sig as a collector, however the Sig is more exclusive as there have not been as many imported into the states. The key to finding the right gun for you is going to be to find the gun that fits you the best. Pick up both guns and shoulder them, look down the rib and see which one points naturally for you. You will always shoot the best with the gun that fits you the best. 0 -
Have to agre with Mk 19. Both are excellent shotguns so go with the one that "FITS" you best. Either way you'll do well. 0
