Rem. 750 ejector prob
Hi Troops---I guess it just never ends
I have a NEW Rem 750 in .243. Took it out to test fire it today for the first time. Using Hornady 58 gr factory ammo. I loaded 2 rounds in the factory clip, cycled the action manually to load the chamber. When fired, the action cycled, but did not eject the fired round. The empty case was still under the extractor ring but failed to eject. The second round was still in the clip. Did this twice with the same results. Looking at the bolt face I find that the ejector button is flush with the bolt face not protruding. Nothing I do will make the ejector move in or out. Is this normal, or do I have a broken spring, or could it be jammed in the hole. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the ejector when I took it out of the box. If this is not a simple fix, I'll send it back to Rem. THX HAWKSHAW

probably a 'burr' in/on the ejector hole. you (or Rem) chambered a round, forced the ejector into the hole and it stayed there. you'd have to remove the barrel to get at it. 0
