Rare? Browning Citori Camo
I purchased a new Browning Citori 12ga 3.5" Lightning with DuraTouch coating in Mossy Oak Duck Blind in April of 2010. The bore has a mirror's shine with absolutely no marks, has not been exposed to any bad weather and has been shot approximately 250 to 300 times. The label on the box reads as follows:
"Model: C LTG GI MODB DT, 12-3.5, 30+EXT TB SMU433
Gauge: 12GA GRADE: 1 Chamber: 3 1/2" Choke Type: EXTENDED BLACK
Barrels: 762MM (30") Choke: INV+ (F.M)"
The serial number is XXXXXMP131 which dates the gun to 2008. I bought the gun new from a local retailer.
Question: I am trying to figure out how much the gun would be worth in two conditions: 1) like new and 2) present condition.
I am only going to include the photos of the "ooppss" marks that are on the gun. The most noticeable mark was from using gun cleaner on the gun instead of gun oil...not that smart on a camo gun! The only other mark/defect on the gun is a scrape on the barrel that you can also see in one of the pics.

Used in the condition we see about 1 grand. Mostly because it says Browning and Citori.
Also curious as to the quote in your signature:

Is that some kind of half-witted throwdown challenge to the Army?
Because if you studied the Grenada campaign you would know that most of the fighting was in and around the Southwest Corner of Grenada which was called? Give you a clue, Point what? Also, that's where the How many? U.S. hostages were being held. And, what? were they? But, then again maybe you watched "Heartbreak Ridge" and would know that the Marines encountered most of the resistance on that Island.
Also to the former quote as it relates to the latter. You might try putting them in context. As I believe there weren't any Marines doing what Sgt. York (U.S. Army) did.
I have a lot of former Marine friends and of course the guys I served with. Lets just say I take offense when someone who doesn't know puts down one service or another, because they think it'll make 'em cool.
