LAR Grizzly 45 Win Mag

Parting with a customized LAR Grizzly 45 Win Mag. Referenced serial number and found it to be one of first 1500. Made in April 1985. This pistol has tip of barrel, slide lock, trigger, and hammer gold plated. According to guys at LAR they see a value of $ 2500- $ 3000 for this gun. Plus a I have a little over 400 rds of ammo (price on ammo ranges around $ 1-$2 each depending on buying volume). What do you think the true value of a gun like this is?[8D] It's in very good shape.
