Winchester 1894 w/ cleaning rod in buttstock?

Was this an option?
Saw an 1894 25-35 SRC mid 3xx,xxx serial(didn't write it down).
Had a carbine style buttplate with access cover for cleaning rod. It wasn't the slide cover like a 1873, but a flip open style.

  Quoting George Madis from the Winchester Handbook, "Standard guns do not have trapdoors, but this feature was available for those few who were willing to pay extra". You said the SRC was mid-300,000 range. If it was below 353,999 a factory letter can be obtained from the Cody museum that would likely tell if it was factory original. That would be a nice special order to have on a pretty scarce SRC.

  Trap door butt plates weree a special order option for the Model 1894... and are only rarely encountered.
