ruger barrel

Has anyone ever seen a ruger barrel on a SBH hunter with the lettering on the bottom side? I have one and have never seen that before. Any help would be great Thanks.

  Is you Ruger a recent buy?? I have seen several guns made in 2010 with the printing on the bottom of the barrel.

  I have one with the warning on the bottom I think they did it to try to hide it so it would't look so bad.

  I don't know about your hunter, but the Vaquero 44 mag. has some of these made the last few years cause they were closeout guns made from left over parts cause they stopped making this gun, why they turned the lettering to the bottom I dont know maybe to ID it as closeout? do they still make your gun? if not it's a closeout.
