New Stock for C93 does not fit :( Advice?
Got a new stock. Have some issues. Please check out the photo on this link for the situation. Old butt stock on the left, new one on the right,

My question is what is the additional part in the left side stock? Is that a Buffer? It moves a bit. Can it be removed to install in the new one? Is it even needed?
Main problam is this!
The new one is not fitting on. Look at the top of each butt stock. The one on the left is like all I've seen. The Plastic meets the metal of the trigger group where the pin fits into place to secure the stock on. Now look at the new one on the right side. It has a metal re inforcment that causes it to be oh so slightly thicker. And that is why it does not want to go on.
I thought before I tried to allter anything or hammer it on I'd ask if anyone's dealt with this situation before and what they did to fix it?

Ohhhhh my link works OK. This site altered it before it was posted. WTH??? My stock is made via HK contract for South America. It's not an air soft item anyway. 0 -
Believe we're having a breakdown in communication here, as old Cool Hand Luke noted.
G 93 not C93 is a HK rifle chambered for the .223 cartridge.
C93 is the Mauser military pistol usually equipped with shoulder stock, that is known to U.S. collectors as the Broom Handle.0 -
I don't see a way to post any photos on this page, at all.
I asked the same question here. You can see the link at this other forum.

If none of our folks can help you, you might consider posting to one of the H & K forums on the net. H & K firearms are very popular, to say the least. GOOGLE is your friend, using H & K forum or something similar as your search term, will bring them up. 0 -
