How are the new generation Weaver scopes? Advantages and disadvantages Is the glass any good ? Where are they made ?

  yes can anybody tell me anything about a weaver kt-15 scope.is anybody useing one.i'm looking at one for a varmint rifle[:D][:D]

  The new weavers have come along way in their overall capability. They are a good value for the money. The glass is good and can be compared with Nikon's Buckmaster, Leupold's VX-II or Vortex's Diamondback series.
  Like all other U.S. based scope manufactures, Weaver has all of their scopes made in ether Japan for the upper end models or China for the lower end.

  Made in Japan. IMO, comparative quality is better than the competition within it's price range.
