trying to find the value of a Heckler & Koch GMBH 9mm, pistol grip markings are VP70Z? any information is useful.

  Value would be based on factory originality and cosmetic condition. There is a "STICKY" toward the top of our header page giving instructions for posting photos.
  
  VZ 70Z"s were made by H & K in the 80's. At the time it was quite revolutionary because it had a plastic frame, this was before the event of the Glock.
  
  The 70Z's is quite accurate once you get the hang of the sights, also it functions well. But it has the worse god-allfull trigger pull imaginable. The one I checked, came in at over 17 pounds. Because of the trigger pull weight I couldn't use a conventional scale but jury rigged one with lead weights.
  
  To make a long story short because of the trigger pull it's not a practical shooter. It's only value is to a H & K collector, or somebody who wants it as a wall-hanger/conversation piece.
