    W W I yes, by the German colonial troops in Africa. W W II no, long obsolete. None should have swastika marking.

    There had been some sold to China in the late 19th Century. Some Chinese rifles were marked with the swastika, perhaps it's one of these he's referring to?

    I have seen somewhere photos of WWII German Volksturm soldiers, in the desperate last days of the War, carrying long-obsoleted Mauser 71/84 rifles in Kaliber 11.15x60R. I don't know whether or not a Waffenamt was applied to these rifles, which might have been brought out of some old inventory. I think they would have used anything they could find to shoot.
