Nickle Plated High Powered 9mm
Hi I am looking to find out the value, year, make and model of the Browning I recently purchased. It is Nickle with a gold trigger and the serial numbers read 245PM59786. It is in execellent condition and I would love to no something about it as the guy I purchased it from passed away.

Sound like you hit the jackpot. It's one of the "Nickel/Silver Chrome Finish" pistols that Browning made in limited quantities. It dates to 1980. If factory original it would have a lot of demand/value to a collector. Probably looking at $800-$1000, at least. 0 -
It would be a lot easier to plate a gun than to find an original softcase & shipping box. It would be best if you posted a photo of the gun, & everything that came with it.

It looks like the real Mccoy to me, it's whats called the Nickel/Silver Chrome Hi-Power made from 80-85. With under 12,000 made during that time frame. 0 -
