Browning A5 Butt Plates
Well, I'm new to this forum although not new to GB. I was reading a thread about A5 butt plates & can't figure out how to find it again. So here goes starting a new one.
First, I have never heard it said that Browning never used horn to make butt plates. They certainly did. But if you don't agree that's OK. It makes for interesting reading. So here is my question:
I have an old horn plate that I would like to fit to an old A5. Are there instructions somewhere that will give the results of a perfect "factory-like" fit, or should it be done by a pro? If so, who do you recommend? Thanks guys!

Definetly have it done by a pro, preferrable by and old world craftsman. 0 -
Thank you much for the advice. Do you know of any of these craftsmen? 0
