could some one give me some kind of idea what this gun maybe worth?
It has on it US remington 1863 Iloin Ny us under the eagel.It is in very good shape it is from the civil war thanks scott

  "Gun"? Do you mean a rifle or a revolver? And, it's "Ilion", not Iloin.
  
  It's probably what is known as a "Zouave" like the one below but we really need pictures of yours for an evaluation.
