Winchester 1894 made about 1905 question
Bert or anyone.... I am looking at a Mdl. 94 that appears to be about 85%. The barrel stamp 30 WCF is either lightly stamped or the gun has been reblued. All other letters are crisp. Were any of these early rifles lightly stamped? The magazine tube has no bluing on it or is silver, anyway.

We would definately need to see pictures to give you an accurate evaluation. If the bluing is not visable on the magazine tupe, then the rifle is NOT 85%...it is more like 40-50%.

There is a good picture in this auction of the caliber stamping. I think the serial number puts this gun around 1900. Looks crisp.

June 1903, and the caliber stamp on that rifle is perfectly correct.0
