I see that Centerfire Systems has the Saiga .223 for $225. I've been thinking that maybe I need one. I have a Fuzzy Bunny Saiga .308 which is a great rifle. Anyone know if the .223 is also accurate and dependable? What about availability for high cap mags? It only comes with a 10 round. I posted this in GD also, but figured I'd better ask over here.

Its a sporterized Kalashninov, with all the advantages and disadvantages you'd expect from something like that.

In other words, you're looking at a relatively inexpensive Russian built semi-auto in a sporting configuration. Its probably not all that accurate, but whatever it lacks in refinement and accuracy it makes up in simplicity and reliability.

The question is what do you actually want to do with it?

watch out it will destroy your brass by cutting a slot in the side from the top cover ok if you are not going to reload

    Brass? [;)]
These guns are designed to run on cheap steel case ammo.
Its almost a shame to run nice brass through one!
