Prices on Magazine and Ammo

Alright i have
9 - 30 Cal 15 round mag unopened sealed in their wax paper
6 - 30 cal 15 round mag opened/used
16 - 30 cal 30 round mag
4 - 7.62 30 round SKS mag
10 - AR15 Metal 30 round mag open/used
4 - AR15 Metal 30 round mag new in bags
2 - Mini 14 30 round mag new in bags


alright my question is i am going to be selling them this week what are the average prices for these?

Don, i would post them here but im not sure on the selling time and i could use some money fast, do you think the profit selling them on the site would be worth it?

I also have some ammo that i am unable to find price information on so any help on these would be greatly appreciated.

    Check out the actual selling prices on the 2 large gun auctions. Quality of magazines will make great difference in prices. The 30 round SKS magazines are useless turds that never function correctly, because of this they are hard to sell. If your carbine magazines are original U.S. military they would be worth more then civilian repros. Also be aware that there are State and City laws regulating the sale of Hi-Cap mags. Be careful where you ship them, to stay out of trouble.

    they are most likely going to a local gun shop, im fairly sure that the 30 cal clips are vintage ww2 my dad was a large collector and their all in military pouches but ill do a little more research =) here are some pictures..

    i have tons of clips i just havent pictured them yet sorry i have many clips filled with 30.06 ammo and some with 7.62 ammo and some with 5.56 ammo

    Those are "MAGAZINES" sir...Not to be confused with "CLIPS" which may be used to load some rifles, that do not take a "box magazine".

    It depends on who made the magazines. If Ruger Factory, also WHEN they were made as in pre or post ban.

    But best way to get most for them, put them on the auction side.

    If you want to get what they're worth, your best option is to put them up for auction. One example: It looks like you have 30 round M1 Carbine magazines. If these are true US military magazines, they're worth quite a bit since nobody has them anymore. I realize that an auction and shipping can be a pain, but it's either that or accept pennies on the dollar for what you have.

    It may take as much as 2 weeks to get your money from an auction if you're in a pinch, that could be a factor. AR mags have gotten cheaper lately and Mini 14 mags are lower than they have been in the past. As mentioned the carbine mags are your higher value items so don't lump them all together-sell them 3 or 4 per auction if you go that way.

    You will get practically nothing if you list your mags on GB with cellphone photos. Buyers want clear, well lit close ups; if I can't clearly see the manufacturer's mark on the spine of a carbine mag, I won't buy it.

    and you need to get some light on the subject. take some better photos before you post it on your auction. outdoor light is the best for a crappy camera.
