Colt 1911 Enhanced

Hey Guys,

Well, I've been looking for a Colt 1911, prefereably, I'd like to have a series 70 but, if the price is right...

Anyway, I ran across this pistol but, finding information has been tough. Most importantly, worth of this particular pistol has been hard to ascertain.

I can find XSE's fairly easy but, a Colt Enhanced, has been challenging.

Any range, with regards to value?

Is it worth pursing?

    The stainless enhanced was the top of the line of the 80 series. I have an offices model in bright stainless that I like alot. The officers model goes for 800.00 and up. The picture looks like a full size gov model. Same price on that I guess.

    i know enhanced has the commander style hammer. i'm not sure if it's anything else or not. i have the national match enhanced and it looks just like the one pictured.

    i have the enhanced gov.model...paid $525.00... i think in 1994...$800.00 would sound like a good deal!!

    the enhanced models were put together by 1 person only,also the top is flat!!

    I have the gov'.model,put a pair of slim line wood stocks on it back in 95 its my favorite series 80.Like the others guys have said 800 is a good price.I would buy another if I could find one in that price range. I like the undercut trigger guard.
