Does anyone know where I can obtain the manufacture date -- in writing -- for my Colt Python without paying $175 for it from Colt? I have the serial number. Thanks!

  Could a Winchester expert please give me the manufacturing date of a Model 1300 Serial number L2626865 ? It is 12 guage, 28 inch with a rib, and Winchokes. Any guess what a new unfired price might be? thanks.
