Gun values -( 3) colt python pistols

I need help from some experts! My dad past away a year ago and left me with some pistols. I have 3 colt python pistols, they're in excellant condition. I'm 99% sure he never fired them when he bought them. I have a buyer for them and I'm not sure how to price them. I do not want to sell them too cheap so i could use someone help here that knows what they're talking about.

1- 8" nickel-ivory grips colt python ctg
2- 6" nickel-wood grips colt python ctg
3- 4" nickel-wood grips colt python ctg

    Sorry about your Dad. Pythons are high-dollar revolvers. Check on the auction side to see what some are going for.

    I have checked on auction side, seen 4" & 6" but didnt see any 8".

    General pricing guide line from the Pythons I've seen go through the shop where I work part-time:
    1 - minimum $2500 - nickel is a plus, ivory (if real) is a BIG plus
    2.- minimum $1500 - " " " "
    3.- minimum $1550 - " " " " 4" is a plus.

    If you have boxes and papers - add about $100 to $150

    These prices are pretty much consistent from what I see in the 31st Ed. of "THE BLUE BOOK..." - for the STANDARD Python series - there are several "special" series which command a bit more per unit.

    32 magnum- thanks for the info. I did how ever go back and looked at the grips on the 8" pistol and they are a white grip i am assuming is ivory but you know how assuming goes. my expertise on guns of this nature is very limited.

    CS8161- My dad loved collecting guns and knives. He loved talking to whoever would listen to him about the guns he had. I have one gun and it is my home security system only so this buyer that i have i know personally and will enjoy them as much as he and will take care of them as much as he did. Also he had more than just these guns so I will still have some of his guns to remember how much he loved them.

    I bet you can do better than the above quoted prices on the auction side. There is a lot of bidding action on NIB Pythons
