Kroil question
Does anyone know where I can buy a small can of Kroil? I have some rust on a cylinder to a blued Ruger single six and would like to use that brand of oil, but I can't seem to locate any sellers. I would prefer to use a chain like Lowes or Home Depot etc...but they don't carry that brand.

Our local NAPA carries it. Your's might. 0 -
I bought an 8oz can of Kroil at my local Walmart about 3 years ago. 0 -
Go to their site and get some! 0 -
NAPPA is aq good idea as is Wal Mart...I'll check both of them on Monday. I hate paying a shipping fee for a low priced item...usually doubles the cost. 0 -
THEY sell direct from their web SITE sometimes even have sales. [^] 0 -
The major firearms catalogs can supply Kroil. Try Brownells, Midway USA or others. Some good gunshops will have it. I have not seen it at WalMart. Being able to purchase it locally will depend on where you live, I'd suspect...bigger metro area, more stuff available. 0 -

Kroil is a penetrating oil that could get into ammo.I have used very fine steel wool to remove surface rust with no bluing damage.Kroil is used for cleaning barrels but I would not use it as a gun oil.0
