Colt Commander or Kimber Pro
Which model is better, I want a stainless model but the Kimber does not have a barrel bushing.Which is better barrel bushing or no barrel bushing? Lightweight model question which is better Colt special metal blend or Kimber aluminum?

I have both, a lightweight Colt Commander and a Kimber Pro Carry...if I had to choose one, it would be the Kimber. Better sights, better trigger and more accurate than the Colt. 0 -
They're both great guns. The kimbers just shoot better for me.
You can't go wrong either way

I have heard that the Kimber lightweight models can get frame damage if dropped. Example clip won't slide in, is there any truth in that? Also how many rounds can you shoot before the slide wears out. On a Colt you can just replace the barrel bushing. 0 -

Don't drop it! I don't think you are going to wear the frame or slide out with regular shooting. You'd probably need to fire about 25,000 rounds to start showing significant wear.0 -
