Am trying to find out information on Spring Field Arms shotgun. has #37112 on it?

  savage /stevens is usually the sportsman series ,,or lower end examples of the savage line. need to know alot more details like action type and photos

  sorry, you're right, I should have given more info. It's an old double barrel with the words Spring Field Arms Co. written on side. When you fold open barrell you see the number. would like to send pic but not sure how to insert photo.

  Go to auction side and type in springfield/stevens you may find one like you have anything I tell you would just be a guess which is maybe a model 511
