Remington 7400 Firing Pin help
Have a misused and abused 1990's Rem 7400. After reworking trigger and hammer back to operation. Then getting it derusted and cleaned? I find out the firing pin is broken. OK. The retainer pin is factory crimped over. Unlike the simpler pin in the 742. Any ideas how to remove that retainer pin? Also, will a 742 fore end stock fit this?
<y omly idea is to dremel out one end and drive it out from that end. Looks like Remington made it so as to be a GunSmith only job. Of course with a special tool. Not knocking GunSmiths.

PROPER PUNCH AND A BIG HAMMER, THE 742 FOREND WILL NOT FIT (WITHOUT SOME WORK, ANYWAY). 0
