F-14 rear
Anyone here a Tomcat drive or rear? A new guy at work has come up saying here flew in Desert Storm & had kidney failure while in flight, he says the rear was able to land the aircraft by using a duel control that is a flip-out stick for emergency use. I know that F-14`s have no duel control trainers, you have to train in other aircraft. Could what he says be true???

Not true.
Ask him what the wing sweep mechanism was called in the tomcat.
Answer: "The machine gun"
If he can't tell you that he was never anywhere near tomcats.0
