Harris bipod???
I just bought a bipod for my rifle...The plate that attaches to the fore end stock doesn't fit because my stock is bench grade and is to big. what options do I have? Anyone run into this same problem?
Thanks in advance.

Harris has some adapters for your application. Check out the harris website and give them a call. They should be able to hook you up with the correct adapter. 0 -
Does that Bi-pod attatch using the sling swivel stud? If it does, you should be able to attatch any Harris bi-pod to a sheet of plywood with a swivel stud in it, simply by backing out the screw you use to tighten it down with.

Horse Creek,
Welcome to the Gunbroker forums!
I suggest using the proper bipod:

Failing that, there is an adapter with a flat and a radius which allows you to us a Harris on a flat bottom stock.

Thanks for the input. It does attach to the sling swivel stud but It just doesn't get tight enough. The stud is too close to the end of the fore end so the plate hangs over the end. Can I have a new sling stud installed farther back on the stock? 0 -

Yes, that works too, if that will fix the problem.
