Charles daly field auto shotgun
Hello all... Can i get someones opinion on these shotguns... are they made very well? are they very reliable? There is one on auction side item #214565278... Any help will be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance

I wouldn't buy one. Have had several in the shop that have broken the locking bolt. The only place that may have parts is Gunparts corp. And that is iffy. 0 -
just thinkin about gettin a light 20 gauge for my wife to shoot but didnt wanna spend much money since she goes huntin or clay shootin only occasionally... all my 12s are too big and heavy for her to handle very well since she is of pretty petite frame 0 -

I would recommend getting your wife an 870 20ga magnum Wingmaster. Sell the barrel that comes with it, typically a 26 inch or 28 inch remchoke barrel, and take those funds and buy a used 21 inch 20ga youth or turkey barrel for it. You may end up with a matte black express barrel on a polished blue Wingmaster receiver, but it is one of the lightest and most durable 'pump options' out there. The gun is virtually indestructible. Plus, the nicely figured walnut stock and forend will look sharp on the shooting range. With the short barrel, weight will come in around 6 lbs. Heavy enough to absorb the recoil with field loads, and light enough so she can carry it a couple of hours in the field and not get tired. 0 -

Darn shame,,Some early Daleys are very good guns..Made in Japan, Italy though...Think Turkey is the problem..sad. 0 -
