CZ 527
I'm thinking about getting a CZ 527 but I don't know much about them.I prefer to buy USA made but I've been told the CZ rifles are very well made. What do you folks think of them for quality and accuracy out of the box?Do they have a good factory trigger? Thanks for your help.

i just purchased a new 525 carbine chambered in .223.
the rifle has a twist rate of 1 in 12". before i buy
ammo what is the best weight to stabilize in this rifle0 -
I would suggest you stay with bullets no heavier than 55 gr. I have one of those rifles and shoot mostly handloads. The 52-53 match bullets shoot the best. Tried some 60 gr. Hornady V-max and the groups are over 2". The heavier bullets are apparently too long for the 1-12" twist. 0 -

Pretty much word for word my experience.
I bought the 527 as an "I want to have fun and not reload today" centerfire plinker, so I run whatever's cheap and 55 grains or under through it. If I want to improve accuracy I'll go with factory reloads that use a 50 or 55 grain VMAX or a good 52 grain BTHP.0 -
thanks,
that's what i was thinking but needed to make sure.0
